Kolej SPACE now offers a streamlined UK pathway for diploma graduates: a one‑year top‑up at the University of Gloucestershire that leads to a recognised Bachelor’s degree and eligibility for a two‑year post‑study work visa. Students begin at Kolej SPACE, UTM Kuala Lumpur, completing a diploma that provides a solid academic foundation before progressing to the one‑year top‑up in Gloucestershire. Programmes on offer include the Bachelor of Business Management and Strategy for aspiring leaders and strategists, and the Bachelor of Computing for students aiming to innovate in technology and digital solutions.
On successful completion, graduates receive a UK bachelor’s degree and may remain in the UK to work for up to two years, gaining valuable industry experience and enhancing employability. Their home away from home is a cozy university residence about a 30‑minute walk from Oxtalls campus. Far from a chore, the walk is a pastoral ritual: green lanes, birdsong and the occasional grazing sheep set the scene for a calm, reflective start to the day. The accommodation strikes the ideal student balance — private rooms with en suites for personal space, plus a communal kitchen and lounge where neighbours swap stories and recipes.
Meals are a highlight. Between lectures they cook simple Malaysian favourites, sharing the flavours of home with international flatmates and learning new dishes in return. For trips further afield, Syazwan pedals his bicycle to the local mall — practical, eco‑friendly and a great way to explore the town.
